Ahhh, winter engagement sessions. So beautiful and so different for us as most couples love to get their photos taken in the spring or summer (don’t get me wrong, we love it too!) But there is just something about a beautiful winter afternoon in Edmonton that can’t be beat. Especially on a Saturday afternoon downtown outside the gorgeous Yellowhead Brewery, it was so quiet and peaceful and not TOO cold! (Although Rebecca and Jereme may beg to differ.)
This engagement session has been long awaited for us and we are so excited to share it with you! We have been anxiously waiting this January wedding since we met Rebecca and her mom in July. Rebecca and Jereme are getting married this very Friday so we had to get this engagement session in quick, that nasty week of -30 did not help! After one cancellation we finally had a “balmy” -15 day, as these two love birds just flew in from their home in Taiwan at the end of December!
We are so excited for their wedding on Friday, but for now a few sneaks at their downtown engagement session!
2012 — Edmonton and Area Wedding Photographers

2012 was such an amazing year for us. We changed our logo, our colours, our business plan. We began focusing on weddings (although we still did and will do families in the coming year so don`t fret, we just love weddings, like a lot!) We got 12 amazing weddings to be a part of and we learned a heck of a lot about ourselves, our life, and our business.
Our highlights from 2012 include buying our first house, crossing some travel off our list, (Bee did Europe and Vegas, then we did Vegas together in May.) and celebrated 2 wonderful years of marriage. We aren`t ones for resolutions, but we are looking forward to an amazing 2013 in which we have some beautiful couples getting married, Eee finishing school, and the hopes of maybe taking this photography thing a little more full time may be in the midst, but we`ll see. All we hope and wish is that you had as awesome of a 2012 that you all make 2013 just as amazing!

Wow, we can’t believe that the final wedding of our year is already over! Adrienne and Steve made it end with a bang though. What a sweet and amazing day they had.
October has seemed to take a turn to the cold weather, but their day was so perfectly warm. We started out the day with Adrienne’s ladies at the Westin downtown and it was so much fun! They had taken over the Royal Suite, the music was playing, the girls were all laughing, and the atmosphere was perfect. Once we arrived at the Faculty Club at the University of Alberta for their gorgeous afternoon ceremony the excitement really picked up.
Adrienne and Steve shared vows that, yes, i bawled my eyes out for too! The choir Adrienne sings in sang beautiful ceremony music and continued to entertain throughout the evening. With the gorgeous afternoon sun for photos and an evening full of laughter, great food, some tears, and a rocking party, our 2012 season could not have ended more perfect. Adrienne and Steve, you two are adorable and we can tell you love each other very much! (They even shared a few kisses for photos, even though they don’t like PDA we were pretty excited they stole a few even when they thought we weren’t looking.)
