It’s always such an honor to photograph the weddings of those you feel like you’ve known forever. Catheryne and I went to high school for a short time together and have participated in church ministries together since then too. When she asked us to be a part of their day I was touched and what a fabulous day it was.
It’s not often we get to photograph a wedding at our home parish either, in fact this was our first time. So getting to stay in Sherwood Park all day caused much excitement before heading out the door. The Senez house was a buzz upon arrival with laughing ladies and hearty sandwiches ready to be eaten. A perfect start! And even though the rain sprinkled a little at the beginning of the day, it really couldn’t have been more gorgeous outside. Beautiful canola fields and playgrounds to play in. I can’t even get over how much this day was!
Catheryne and Guy opted for one our favorite parts of wedding days, a first look. This great start to a fun and relaxing day. They greeted their guests as they came into the ceremony, a unique experience Bee and I did as well. Their ceremony was touching, the love in their eyes was beyond belief and the day was absolutely wonderful. Top it all off with AMAZING dancing at the reception, we were so happy to be a part of this day.
We wish you lots of love in the future you two, congrats!

we lucked out with a great summer this year, which meant awesome things for our lovely couples! Francine and Edwards perfectly pink day was so much fun and so relaxing. this wedding was planned perfectly (of course with a fellow teacher friend, how could it not go off without a hitch!) although we could have done without those pesky mosquitoes. But without too many bites, we had a great time photographing these two in St. Albert all day long.
Take a peek into their brightly coloured day back in august.

What an incredibly gorgeous summer Alberta got this year! If there is one thing we can all remember about Dom and Ken’s day, it. was. HOT! But oh so a perfect, the heat made this country wedding even more authentic.
Although I’m pretty biased, we do have the most amazing couples in our Eee + Bee family. Bee and I are always so blessed and honored at the fantastic couples that walk through the doors of our home and allow us to be a part of a very important day in their lives. Dom and Ken are right up there with the kindest and funnest people around. And their day reflected them perfectly.
We drove out to Ferintosh, AB, a place we’d never heard about until they inquired with us, I was sure it was fake! But it was an adorable little town on the edge of a lake where the couple grew up together, so it was only fitting this is where they would tie the knot. Perfect.
A relaxed set of bridemaids hung out on the balcony of the B&B and an equallly casual set of groomsmen at his cabin by the lake. This is the best way to start a wedding day. The sky was so blue and the canola was a perfect backdrop as we wandered around the countryside and then headed for a fun party full of heartfelt speeches, hilarious videos of the couple, and an accordion tribute to Dom and Ken, and everyone knows anything musical automatically makes the wedding amazing, so this fantastic day just kept getting better and better as the night went on!
Congrats to this lovely couple!
