I have the lovely privilege of being an older sister and it made me feel really old this year when she just decided to graduate and turn 18 all in one month! So we went out on a beautiful Saturday evening the day before her 18th birthday and captured some beautiful shots of her in her grad dress, as well as some fun senior portraits.
Looking through all her pictures made me realize how grown up she is and what a beautiful lady she has become. I was so excited to do this photo session with her and Bee even taught me some more about editing, so this session is 100% Eee which makes me super excited, as Bee is usually the one who is editing and going through all your photos. This time I got to shine a little bit and show off my sister, I am so excited to share these photos.
The best part about being a photographer is the reveal. I wish we could always be with you when you get to see your photos, we hope you share the looks on your faces through comments from now on, because we love to know what you think! Hope you enjoy the photos of my little sister Jennifer
Congrats on your grad Jennifer, we are so excited to watch you grow up more in the many years to come!
What a darling morning we spent with Sophia and her family creating a Christmas card for them to send out over the holidays. A few weeks back, their house was already decked out in Christmas time fun (which made me move a little faster on getting ours out because of all the cheer and fun we had there!) and Sophia was a doll and posing expert! It made us all laugh and giggle when she would strike her model pose and boy, did she have it down pat for sure.
Between getting cookies from Santa, hanging ornaments on the tree, and pretending to have so much fun on a white throw blanket we got a bunch of great adorable Christmas themed pictures for them, here are our favorites!
We love the wonder of Christmas! This is our last photo session before Christmas, so be sure to stay tuned for all our Christmas break festivities. We are contemplating a few engagements over the holidays (since it’s stayed warm and lovely in Edmonton this year) so keep watching. For now, enjoy Sophia Christmas excitement, and we wish you all a very happy holidays and Christmas season!!
Don’t forget, that special fitness guru in your life needs a 2012 calendar, stop by any of our participating yoga studios or lululemon’s for our Yoga Calendar! We promise it won’t disappoint! $20 to an amazing local charity, free yoga, and makes a great gift! Pick one up today.
We had an amazing experience working within our community a few months ago shooting photos for a very exciting charity endeavor that was asked of us. You may remember back in October our chilly yoga shoot. Well the photos turned out fabulous and we finally got to see the finished product — a calendar.
This calendar (as you can read in our first post) is being sold throughout the city at various yoga students and stores and all proceeds are going to the amazing organization iHuman here in the city. The launch party for our very first calendar (we hope this will be yearly) took place this past thursday evening at Noorish, a newly opened conscious eatery and yoga studio in the Garneau area and it was wonderful! Enough said, here are some photos from the great evening. We are so excited for our very first printed work!
The food was super delicious! We can’t wait to go back for a full meal.
It was so nice to watch people look at the calendars, enjoy the delicious food, talk about yoga, and most importantly help a great cause! The calendars look great (we even bought one for ourselves, how could we not!) and are already being sold around the city for $20. We can’t wait to check out some of the amazing yoga studios who participated in this calendar and have generously put free classes on the back! What a great way to check out yoga in our great city. A full list will be at the end of this post. A big thanks to everyone who participated in this, especially to Eileen Chan, our new favorite yogi! Her great idea is what started this all and we hope to continue well into the future so watch for more yoga from us! (we better get practicing I guess.)
Heres just a few updates from the Eee and Bee:
We are busy, busy here in our little photography niche. We are going to be working through the winter on our business making things prettier, better, and far more efficient for everyone of our clients. (And our lovely followers and fans!) So stay tuned, because we have a few exciting things coming your way in the business realm. Eee vs. Bee seems to be a little lost right now doesn’t it? September turned into October, October to November and before we knew it, it was December. So we have decided a product shoot is in the mix over the Christmas holidays. Your ideas for the new year are GREATLY appreciated as we run out of them so quick, but don’t fret Eee vs Bee isn’t gone for good, we love doing it and seeing your votes it’s just on a small hiatus! Just a final word, thanks! Thank you, thank you, thank you to the continued love and support for our growing business. We are working to make things bigger and better in the upcoming years and we couldn’t do it without our wonderful families, the beautiful clients we have, and of course all of you reading this! So we will never thank you enough for the support!
That’s all for now, enjoy the chilly weather and the days leading up to Christmas! We need to start decorating I guess. Watch for more posts over the holidays. We have some lovely couples who want to brave the snow and a few family shoots in the works.
